We are merely echoes in eternity, trying to find the original voice.

When I look into your eyes, I see the same limitless depth, beauty and wonder as I do looking into the night sky...

Smoking my first cigarette in probably 3 months or more
The night feels how I felt when I was 17
Like me and Jim Morrison and a sky full of magic
The cicadas, crickets, the night is a symphony tonight
The air is fertile
All the trees wearing their thoughts on their leaves
All of nature reaching out for an embrace
And God whispering in the heavens... "isn't it beautiful?"
And me smiling, "Yes. Yes it is."
The moon draws close...

Everyone knows within you lies a precious jewel, but only you have seen its contours, graced this strange and hidden land, beneath the winter's dew.

Every light and gentle grain of sand, like tender notes that fall on ears that open eyes that once were blind.

Unfolding wings set a course to the sun, don't fly too high my love, don't fly away.

The gentle tears I leave behind, may be only a memory, that too in time do fade.

When it comes to love, I draw the line after Snow White and before Bathory.

Before we are born, God makes your soul answer a multiple choice test. On the test is just one question, yet it is numbered #1, apparently if you answer #1 to God's satisfaction you are instantly incarnated as a human being, if you answer it incorrectly, you go on to question 2, and so on and so on and so on... most people get incarnated after no less than 100 questions, but you, he saw you coming and ripped up the test and said, "Whatever you want to be."

Life is full of the opportunities we are looking for, and the ones God wants to present us. Perhaps the trick is in accepting that ultimately they are the same. The moment we judge a moment we no longer are in it, the further we drift downstream, away from our lives. Sometimes I wonder who I'm writing this for, but I know, I do it all for the cosmic reflection, that fine sheet of eternity, that mirror that tells me I still real. Until reality comes along.

It's a shame we can't change the past to remove someone's sorrow, once we have the solution... but no amount of will power can change the past... even God can't change the past. Even knowing perhaps the soul needed the struggle to awaken... the heart wants and hurts deeply for another's suffering in hope, like tiny wings trying to fly... a baby bird on the pulsating winds of life.

You cannot be a beacon of hope with darkness in your heart.

Those who do not believe in you, are unable to foresee one thing... your capacity to prove them wrong.

The onion layers unravel down the hallway to the heart, towards the brightest light where you've been waiting all along, for you.

The sheep outnumber the shepherd a hundred thousand to one. The fences are in their heads and they stay within them, even with a million miles to run.

I see a lot of followers, but not a lot of leaders. Everybody's copy pasting, with no original dealers. I guess I can rest assured, I found my voice and understand it best, I'll be the one light in the darkness, not flickering like all the rest. I've got my own tempo, this shit ain't memorex.
