I Believe

I Believe

I believe in you, not the one you define.
I believe in reflections, a precursor to illusion.
I believe in text, not as a window but a mirror.
I believe in love, not as creation but a discovery.
I believe in paths, not the ones that leave a trace.
I believe in breath, a river to sit beside.
I believe in the moment, the ungraspable gratitude.
I believe in focus, connection not dislocation.
I believe, take away the I and the attachment to belief.

How do these words benefit all beings, that they be free of suffering?
One cannot eat words, one cannot breathe words, drink words, words aren't a hug, or a kiss. This post must end so I can give my cat a hug and a kiss.
