A Distant Horizon
By Jonathan Berman

A Distant Horizon

Most people are fairly boring
They question nothing
They do same thing
From Day to Day

Look at me
Don't look at me I'm here
But somehow I'm not here
When you're away

I've been searching for so long
Believing in a Lord who didn't believe
In me

I - left it at the shoreline
A look back upon my mind
And what all it means

I - leave it up to you now
A look upon the truth how
Held against me

We can't forward and we can't still
The darkness and the morning chill
These eyes on the sun of a distant horizon
That's only begun to rise
